No matter what profession you’re working in, efficiency matters.  Being able to get more done in less time is the key to getting ahead — whether you’re looking for a big promotion within your traditional corporate job or hoping to take your growing startup to the next level. When it comes to business, the most vital component is communication, communication, communication.

Think of all the ways you communicate on any given day: speech, email, text, body language, maybe Morse code, if you’re old school. Now think of all the times a means of communication failed you: a lost letter, a misconstrued message, a weak WiFi signal.

Communication isn’t perfect, but when it comes to our businesses we need it to be as reliable and effective as possible. Be it in the office or across the globe, a company needs to be able to communicate in order to survive. Thankfully, technology has provided countless new professional communication platforms designed to improve the ways we do business.

Connecting with clients, interoffice communication, and even office gossip can be taken to the next level via user-friendly apps. And there are even rumors that email might soon be a thing of the past.

For some reason, Bitrix24 isn’t widely known — and I think that’s a shame.  The program combines a social intranet system with CRM tools that include contact tracking, sales funnel management, messaging, activity planning and calendars, all of which enable your team to quickly manage important pieces of information from within a central program.

Bitrix24 CRM is an incredibly powerful CRM tool. Compared to other software in this space, Bitrix24 CRM is similar to Apptivo in the scope of functionality. It’s cheaper than Salesforce Sales Cloud Lightning Professional and Zoho CRM, though its features are just as extensive if a bit more-intimidatingly presented.

Bitrix24 pretty much does everything, but run your company for you.

Best of all, it’s free for teams with fewer than 12 people (subscription plans for larger groups are modestly priced as well). To be honest, one might say Bitrix24 does a little too much.

Bitrix24 CRM falls short of the customization options that make the other tools more flexible. Chances are, smaller businesses won’t use every tool in Bitrix24 CRM’s arsenal, and many will do just fine on the free plan. For companies that need more users and storage, the Standard and Professional plans are still very affordable for what they offer. Bitrix24 CRM is a well-thought-out CRM service that can handle just about anything you throw at it.
